Dear Church Family:
Thank you so much for your kind donations of Kleenex for the "Kleenex Shower" at Riverdale Elementary School. We collected a box for every classroom. The school appreciates your support and Christian love. Mary Rose, Women on Missions President
Food Pantry Needs
Thank you for your continued support of the food pantry. Items needed at this time are: spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, macoroni & cheese, cereal, ramen noodles, pork & beans, and corn.
LLL Club Apple Trip
The LLL Club will meet on Tuesday, October 11 at 9 a.m. There will be a short meeting then we will load the bus to leave at 9:15 a.m. We will go to the Davis House for lunch: the cost of lunch is $5.50, pie is $1.25 and cake is $2.00. Following lunch we will go to Mercier’s Orchard for apples. Join us for a great time of fellowship.
Riverdale First Baptist Church:
A simple thank you just isn’t enough to express the gratitude for the love my family felt through your kind and thoughtful words, presence, flowers, cards, and the nourishing, delicious meal provided before mother’s service. It is remarkable that Dr. Lowe led the services which spanned more than a decade for all four of the Mann sisters. Walking through Riverdale First Baptist was like stepping back in time; feeling love of many old friends and family members who have gone before us and still sharing Christian love with those of you who remain. You are a unique congregation that Mama still felt a part of. Thank you for making us all feel that we still belong there. Our prayers are with you for continued influence for good on the people of Riverdale and on those of us scattered through the world’s community of believers.
